Giraffes are Awesome!

Is there anything more majestic than the mighty Giraffe? No there is not.
Below are a selection of the many thousands of giraffe drawings I have done in my life along with a brief explanation of what each one means to me. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

The picture that gave this blog its name.
I was thinking the other day what the world would be like if there were no giraffes. It was a scary thought! Fortunately if such an eventuality ever did occur I think I could use my skills as a microbiologist to clone them like in that dinosaur movie. Of course I'd take the opportunity to fix the one problem that giraffes have. How could I improve on perfection you ask? Well...eggs!

Spider-man is my favourite superhero. The only thing I think is wrong with him is that he isn't a giraffe. This picture shows what it would be like if he was. He would probably spend a lot more time eating leaves though as there is not much crime where giraffes live.
At the bottom of the picture I have drawn a small duck and Pacman. I don't know why.

Another alternative if giraffes were ever wiped out would be to create self replicating robot giraffes (with extendable necks!). Of course then you would have to build robot trees for them to eat so maybe cloning would be a better idea?
As you can see this giraffe has sprung a leak in his oily stomach. Poor Robo-Giraffe, a mechanic will be along soon, lol.

The main problem with the ocean is the lack of giraffes I think. The solution? Mergiraffes! Just imagine how cool the Little Mermaid would have been if the girl had been a giraffe. I also drew the crab from the film. I liked the bit where he sang a song but thought he should have sworn a bit more, like real crabs do.
Walt Disney, if you see this, email me.

I don't think I need to explain this one do I? We've all wondered what WWII would have been like if the Nazis were giraffes right?

This is my attempt to envision the giraffes of the past, specifically the Elizabethan era. As you well know, they're very fashionable creatures and would have kept up with the trends f the time.

This is undoubtedly the best giraffe based homage to Dr Strangelove even though I missed an 'f' out of the title and didn't leave enough room for the hat.
